Policies and Payment

At Boondocks Farm, we look forward to meeting new people who enjoy Nigerian Dwarfs as much as we do.  But, to make things run smoothly we have to have a few policies in place.  Sort of like "fences make good neighbors".  So here they are...

GENERAL PAYMENT TERMS

Once you see the little doeing, buckling or adult goat you just can't live without, we will need a deposit of $100 (or half the purchase price, whichever is less) paid via PayPal to hold your goat.  We can only hold a goat for 3 days while waiting on a deposit.  If you do not have a PayPal account, please contact me to see if we can work out the details.  The balance is due at the time of pick up in CASH.  No checks.  Deposit are refundable in these circumstances ONLY:  death/illness/injury of the goat.  Deposits are transferrable to another goat on the same pick up date as long as that goat is not being held for another customer and is for sale.

BOTTLE BABIES

If you want a bottle baby, please notify us either before kidding or within a few days of kidding.  We will do our best to post pictures of new kids as soon as possible.  If you want to be notified when a certain doe kids, please email me at jraybon5@gmail.com.  Bottle babies require a $100 non-refundable deposit to hold them and must be picked up within 7 days of kidding.  Deposits are paid by money order if arranged 3 weeks or more before kidding date OR paid via PayPal if after kidding.  If you cannot pick up within 7 days but want us to continue holding the kid for you, the balance must by paid in full via PayPal (no checks) by the 7th day after notifying us you want the kid and there will be a "Bottle Feeding" charge of $2 per day, starting on day 8th, until you pick up your kid.  Bottle Feeding charge is due at pick up in cash.

NO GUARANTEES

Our herd is carefully managed and we do our best to ensure that you leave with a healthy goat to add to your herd.  Even so, we cannot guarantee the health of our goats once they leave the farm.  All of our goats are vaccinated for CD&T, disbudded and appropriately dewormed before leaving our farm.  Kids are given coccidia prevention at 3 weeks and 6 weeks.  All goats are on Noble Goat feed which has a coccidiostat.  Buyers are given health information on their goat at the time of purchase which will include all dates and dosages of vaccines and medications given.  Should you want a vet check to be done at our farm before you leave with your goat, please feel free to do so.  Please be sure that you are satisfied with your new goat before you leave.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO:

.....Retain any goats born into our herd.

.....Refuse a sale if proper/safe means of transportation is not provided.

.....Refuse a sale if proper companionship of other goats is not present at the new home.
